The Fort! Yes, we really do have a fort, and it is the scene of the annual Memorial Day event, The Buckskinner’s Rendezvous, a reenactment of fur-trading days in the 1830s, complete with authentic costumes, food, music, and competitions such as knife and axe throwing. Held in the 113-acre Rock River Park.
AtmosphAir Skydiving Center: Offers a unique tour experience, and no you don’t have to jump! Experience the thrills of skydiving from afar and watch as head instructor Bo Babovic rides to 12,500 feet in the air and exits the airplane with a brightly-colored parachute. Enjoy your visit with Bo and his wife Alex who have traveled (and jumped) all over the world.
